Progress by quest stage

  • Follow the Story quest markers to collect all six Firefly’s Memory Flowers and complete the Dusk stage they reveal.
  • Find the four Acolytes and obtain their masks. Some areas require Flaming Mane, access to Mandate Encampment and the repaired Illusory Pipa.
  • With all four masks, interact with the Four Guardians’ Mirror on Meigu Lake to travel to the Phantom Illusionist Ruins. The two Crystal Puppet Eyes are in different places: Yang is near the Scavenger Pens bell inside Crimson Manor; Yin is in the Three-Eyed Puppet’s room after its three magic doors.
  • Go to Whiteshadow’s Fall. Defeat the Blizzard Blademaster first, then interact with Puppet No. 99 on the frozen lake and place both eyes to start the ritual.
  • Defeat the High Elder and finish the follow-up. After the quest, speak with Inanis in the Realm of Mirage to receive Violet Blossom; the endings guide identifies this conversation as relevant to ending requirements.

Common blockers and evidence

Collecting the first flowers does not complete the quest; later regions are part of the chain. If no marker appears, check the Story list and use Mind’s Eye to locate the current objective.
