Mandate Encampment Outer Gate Key: location and route

Location and prerequisite

The key opens the encampment gate first seen near the Village of Lu entrance, but it is found later in western Pangzhen’s second chapter. PC Gamer places it in the well area after Gu Wanyue, The Wailing Wraith.

Common mix-up and evidence

Not finding the key on your first visit to the Village of Lu is expected. This is not the Outpost Cell Key or an Illusory Pipa part. The route is summarized from PC Gamer’s retail guide and has not been independently play-tested by this site.
