Heartrend Pipa location: Yuzan and the later Illusory Pipa

Where to get it

Advance the Village of Lu story into the underground caverns and fight the No. 3 Musician Puppet, Yuzan. The Epic Games Store guide reports Heartrend Pipa as the reward. Available sources identify the main-story cavern area but do not provide a more exact room coordinate.

Heartrend Pipa vs Illusory Pipa

• Heartrend Pipa is the instrument Phantom Edge reported after the Yuzan fight; the guide describes it as firing sonic blades.
• Illusory Pipa is a later repair quest: collect its parts and return to Myst in the Pangzhen tavern. The restored instrument dispels certain barriers.
• Do not treat Heartrend Pipa, the broken Illusory Pipa and the repaired Illusory Pipa as the same acquisition step.

Sources and verification scope

The Yuzan reward and reported use come from the Epic Games Store guide; the repair sequence is cross-referenced with this site's Illusory Pipa guide and PC Gamer. Exact attacks, damage and pickup animation have not been tested here, and a verified Chinese item name is not available, so the English name is retained.
