The key point
Defeat The Hunt in the rematch at Great Waterfall in Weeping Creek Valley to earn the Hunter's Chain Sickle and its traversal grapple.
Location and steps
- Follow the Weeping Creek Valley story to the Great Waterfall bell.
- Prepare healing and challenge The Hunt here; this reward comes from the later encounter, not the prologue meeting.
- Complete both parts of the fight and claim the Hunter's Chain Sickle.
- While exploring, look for special anchor points above you and use the on-screen grapple prompt when in range.
Cautions and verification
Reports say the traversal grapple works once obtained even if the Phantom Edge is not equipped. Do not assume pre-release demo attacks match the retail encounter.
Compiled from retail-game media reports; this site has not independently play-tested the encounter.
